An Outline for my Presentation
Introduction:
Good Evening! My name is Onyedika C. Nwaebube. However, due to difficulty in pronouncing my names, I go by my initials, O.C!
My presentation this evening is titled, Delivering Your Speech. It is taken from Chapter 13 of Public Speaking, 5th edition, by Steven A. and Susan J. Beebe.
How many of you have done a public speaking before? How did you feel about your presentation? Did you connect with your audience during the Speech?
This evening, I am here to talk about “Delivering Your Speech.” An Effective Speech Delivery requires confidence, preparation and knowledge of the audience. Whereas the content of your speech is important, the delivery of the speech is equally as important if not more. Further, while a speech may have an excellent message, a poor delivery could obscure that message. Therefore, special care and preparation are needed before an effective speech delivery can be achieved.
