Associate Professor,   Shaw University (since  March 14, 2005)

Associate Director and co-founder of  Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Research Center (NNRC),  Shaw University

Head of Nano-Optoelecronic Materials and Devices division,  NNRC.

 

Former Positions:

Research Associate at North Carolina State University (since Aug. 1995).

Associate Professor at INRST1   (since Jan. 1988. on Sabbatical leave since July 1998).

Assistant  Professor at INRST    (Oct. 1982 - Jan. 1988),

Junior Assistant at ENIT2            (Sep. 1981- Oct. 1982).

 

Former Academic Responsibilities:

Head of  Department of Physics and Energy3 at INRST ( Jan 1991 - Dec 1993)

Head of research team on “Crystalline defects and impurities in solar grade silicon” (1987-1997).

R&D project manager "Fabrication and characterization of mono-crystalline silicon solar cells” (1984 - 1990).

 

Awards:

    1.   Fulbright Fellowship, two years at North Carolina State University (July1995-Aug.1997) ,

    2.   Junior Fellow to International Centre of Theoretical Physics, one month visit per year between 1987 and 1993,

    3.   EEC Scholarship for visiting IMEC, Belgium  Sep.1984 - Dec.1985,

    4.   CMCU Fellowship at University of Pierre Marie Curie, Nov.-Dec. 1982 (Comité Mixte Franco-Tunisien pour la
