   Announcement

Mr F. Rickert  helped in setting up our forum. This will enable you to communicate with your peers in this class and the outside world in the subject matters we are studying and to try new ways for getting in depth in our program.

Students will start their presentations this week.

Go to Syllabi  for the guidelines on the preparation of presentations.

There will be a project to do as a team work. It is about the progress of research reported in the literature on CNT. All students of CH481 and PHY401 will contribute to this project. I will give you the links to Titles-Authors-abstracts-Conclusions  or  Fragments of Papers. I will generate a statistics table with a number of descriptors. All students will contribute in the bibliometric analysis:

       i)  by reading the documents and by filling out the statistics table (directions will be given),

ii) by making statements built upon their understanding of the matter (after reading the essential of the papers given to them)

Each student will be assigned a number of references to read and to carefully study. This will be a sort of an update of published bibliometric analysis on CNT; you were given one paper of that type in the beginning of the semester.
