Guidelines for
preparation of presentations
Put-in your own thoughts; i.e.,
no "copy and
paste" from others' papers, use
references instead.
Think about the statements you are
making, and avoid meaningless ones.
It is recommended
that you suggest and discuss new thoughts, new technologies
and trends in
science, novelties, whenever possible,... rather than report on
classical
and usual ideas
along your presentation.
Main points must be briefly stated
in each slide.
Highlight keywords.
The message must appear clearly in
the conclusion.
Insert your notes in your presentation.
Most of the following sections must
appear in your presentation:
i) Outline
ii) Objectives
iii) Problem statement
iv) Methods for solving
the problem
v) Core of the talk
(data comparison, discussion of various theories, graphics,...)
vi)
Put-in your opinion
vii)
Conclusion
viii) Acknowledgements (if any)
ix)
References: Do not put them at the end of the
presentation, but rather as
footnote of each slide, where you cite
them (us
small fonts 12-14pts).
x)
Insert your
notes
in the presentation.
Usually, u se
large fonts ( more than 20 pts)
Use
sketches and images to illustrate your discussion.
